A Neighborhood Walk: Singapore

A series of pictures from the neighborhood I stayed in during my month-long trip to Singapore. I often went on walks through the streets just to listen to music and get lost in the idea of being alone in a new, foreign country. Although I didn't go very far to take these pictures, these images now remind me of how strolling along the sidewalks captivated me and definitely made me fall in love with the beauty of Singapore. These pictures may not be the best, but they evoke a desire in me to travel and continue to experience new places. A specific culture can exist anywhere, even just on the corner of a street you happen to walk through. It may not seem picturesque, and to a local it may even look boring, but to me they are a depiction of just a sliver of the beautiful city I got to experience during my month long trip in Singapore

Middle of the Street

The center road on the hill I walked almost everyday. I almost got hit by a car taking this picture because I forgot that in Singapore people drive their cars on the left side of the street.

Traffic Mirror
